Real-World Data Enabled by Advanced Data Analytics Towards More Accessible, Targeted, and Personalized Medicine

Session Description

Increasing volumes and availability of multimodal real-world data (RWD) in combination with advanced data analytics (such as Artificial intelligence and Machine Learning) provide us with the tools needed to advance clinical research and practice. These will enable us to deliver better treatment solutions by increasing the resolution of our understanding of individual patients and their holistic disease journey. RWD can advance understanding for subpopulation that may not be adequately represented in clinical trials including underrepresented minorities, rare cancers, and molecular subgroups.

This session aims at bringing together researchers from academia, public health, and industry to (i) share experiences and best practices, (ii) jointly discuss the use of RWD enabled by AI/ML in the transformation of healthcare towards understanding populations for advancing health equity and (iii) enable precision medicine including dose optimization.

Learning Objectives

1. Learn about the application of advanced data analytics such artificial intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to leverage Real-World Data (RWD) for advancing precision medicine and health equity.

2. Foster discussion among the audience on potential AI/ML solutions for the use of RWD to address clinical pharmacology challenges.
