Kathy Cheung is a Principal Scientist in Clinical Pharmacology at Genentech, Inc. She earned her PharmD from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Prior to joining Genentech, Kathy completed a postdoctoral fellowship offered by the UCSF-Stanford Center of Excellence in Regulatory Science and Innovation (CERSI), where she received regulatory science research training in academia, FDA and industry. Kathy currently works as clinical pharmacology lead on multidisciplinary drug development teams supporting clinical development of oncology drug products. Her areas of interest include membrane transporters, special populations and physiologically-based pharmacokinetics modeling. Kathy currently serves as the chair of the ASCPT Membrane Transporter Community and is a steering committee member of the ASCPT Special Populations Community. Kathy was recognized as a 2018 Presidential Trainee at the ASCPT 2018 Annual Meeting and she also received the Jason Morrow Trainee Award.
