Dr. Zhu Zhou is an Assistant Professor at York College/Graduate Center, City University of New York (CUNY). She has a broad background in pharmaceutical science with specific training in pharmacokinetics and expertise in using in vitro, in vivo, and computational approaches to predict and evaluate the disposition of natural products and drugs. Her research focused on drug metabolism, pharmacokinetics-based food-, herb- and drug-drug Interactions and PBPK applications in special populations. Her lab is currently funded by the National Institute of Health. She has been a member of ASCPT since 2013 and currently serves as the chair of the Regulatory Science Community. She has received several recognitions including the 2022 National Institute on Aging Butler-Williams Scholar and the 2023 ASCPT Darrell Abernethy Early Stage Investigator Award.
