Dr. Hanumanth Cheruvu, M.S.Pharm, is currently a Lead PK Scientist at Parexel International, Brisbane, Australia in the Department of Clinical Pharmacology Modeling and Simulation (CPMS) with appointments in the Faculty of Medicine at The University of Queensland (UQ), Brisbane as an Adjunct Fellow. He earned his Ph.D. from UQ and then completed Post-Doctoral Fellowship at UQ, Brisbane by working with US FDA. He has been involved in Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics mainly PK, PBPK, and PopPK along with Drug Metabolism, Bioanalysis, and Preclinical PK. He held various cross-functional leadership roles in Drug discovery CROs, Pharma, and Research Institutes with an experience span of more than 10 years. He has published both original research and review papers in the areas of DMPK, Formulation development, IVIVC, and PBPK and has presented his research at national pharmacy and pharmacology meetings. He has worked in multiple therapeutic areas including dermatology, oncology, diabetes, immunology, rheumatology, and more. He has been a member of UQ Future leaders, PAGANZ, and ASCPT and has served on the strategic planning task force, website task force, community, and network leadership, and scientific programming committee. Dr. Hanumanth is passionate about helping researchers leverage data to aid in establishing the safety and efficacy of therapeutics.
