Cindy Zhang, MS, is a PhD candidate in the Department of Pharmaceutics at the University of Washington. She earned her MS in biostatistics from Columbia University in 2016 and then worked as a scientific researcher in the Clinical Pharmacology Department at Genentech. She joined the Pharmaceutics PhD program at the University of Washington in 2019. Her current research focuses on evaluating diarrheal disease impact on oral drug pharmacokinetics through utilizing pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic, physiologically-based pharmacokinetic, and population pharmacokinetic modeling techniques. Her interest lies in leveraging data-driven modeling and statistical approaches to advance the knowledge of pharmacokinetics.
