Samia Shabnaz, MS, is a 2nd year Ph.D. student at the University of Florida in the department of Pharmacotherapy and Translational Research. She has completed her B.Pharm and M.Pharm from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. She has been working on pharmacogenomics since her Master's degree. She focused on the effect of gene polymorphism on drug activity by observing the candidate gene. She has published some papers in peer-reviewed journals. Currently, she is working on the identification of markers regarding carfilzomib-related cardiotoxicity in multiple myeloma patients through a multi-omics approach. She is a member since 2021 and will present a poster this year.
