Parsshava Mehta is currently a graduate assistant at the Centre for Pharmacometrics and Systems Pharmacology, University of Florida under the mentorship of Dr. Valvanera Vozmediano. His current research focuses on building a complex PBPK model for CNS and nasal drug delivery to the brain which can aid in drug development. He received the Dr. Hartmut Derendorf Award from the University of Florida in 2022. His formal education has been in pharmacy school at Dr.M.G.R Medical University in India, which still keeps him close to patients, and wants modeling and simulation to move quickly from computers to the bedside of each patient. Before joining the center, he worked for a year as an Associate Scientist at Pumas-AI under the guidance of Drs. Ivaturi & Gobburu where he learned the intricate skills of M&S. Lastly, he believes in the famous saying, “None of us is as smart as all of us” and the key to success is in collaboration as seen with space technology.
