Paul Simental is a 2025 Doctor of Pharmacy candidate at the University of California, San Diego Skaggs School of Pharmacy. He participated in the Summer Research Program with Pfizer characterizing immunogenicity reporting for recently approved biologics, with particular assessment of analysis methodology used for assessing impact of ADA on PK, PD, efficacy, and safety.
He received his BS in Molecluar Biology and Psychology from the Unversity of California, San Diego. He performed research in the UCSD Rosenfeld Lab (target site imaging in breast cancer cells) and Walker Lab (studies at local museums, aquariums, and preschools around uncertainty monitoring) as a research assistant. He has previously worked at Eli Lilly's Biotechnology Center culturing cells, performing transfections, and harvesting antibodies.
Paul is interested in pharmacogenomics, personalized medicine, and emerging mental health therapeutics.
