Dr. Vamshi Jogiraju is a Clinical Pharmacologist at Gilead Sciences, Inc. In his current role, Dr. Jogiraju provides strategic clinical pharmacology support across clinical development, spanning Phase 1 - 3 studies, of novel and breakthrough therapies for treatment and prevention of HIV-1 infection. He received his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Long Island University, NY, and Bachelors as well as Masters in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India. His graduate research was focused on development of PBPK and PK/PD models to assess the impact of drug-drug interactions, evaluate dosing guidelines in special populations and to assess the drug induced cardiovascular toxicity. Dr. Jogiraju has published several research papers in peer-reviewed journals and presented his work at various scientific conferences. He has been a member of ASCPT since 2018 and has volunteered for Mentor Monday's initiative.
