Dr. Stitt earned his PharmD from the Medical University of South Carolina before completing his PGY-1 pharmacy residency at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and PGY-2 pediatric pharmacy residency at Boston Children’s Hospital. He is dual board certified in pediatrics and critical care and worked as a pediatric ICU clinical pharmacy specialist for approximately 5 years at Texas Children’s Hospital, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and Phoenix Children’s Hospital. His primary research interest is the study of antimicrobial pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics in pediatric patients, particularly those receiving dialysis support in the ICU. He is currently a T32 post-doctoral fellow in the Center for Clinical Pharmacology at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (PI: Kevin Downes, MD) where his research focuses on PK/PD modeling of antimicrobials in critically ill children.
