Arthur Lo, PhD, is currently a Director of Modeling and Simulation and drug metabolism/pharmacokinetics at Global Blood Therapeutics (now Pfizer). He earned his PhD in Applied Mathematics from the University of Arizona where he applied mathematical models to describe human physiology. He began his career at Entelos where he worked on and developed quantitative systems pharmacology models of human metabolism, cardiovascular disease, and hypertension. After Entelos, he joined Theravance Biopharma in the department of Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics to provide strategic modeling, simulation and pharmacometrics support across the research and development pipeline. Most recently, he has joined Global Blood Therapeutics and supports translational dose selection/optimization for preclinical candidates and provides pharmacometrics support for compounds in clinical development.
