Megan Koleske, PhD, is currently a postdoctoral scholar in the lab of Kathy Giacomini at the University of California, San Francisco, affliated with the Department of Bioengineering and Therapeutic Sciences. She earned her PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmacogenomics from UCSF in 2022, with her dissertation focused on large scale functional and spatial characterization of rare genetic variants in transporter genes in the SLC22 family to inform predictive models relevant in pharmacogenetics and rare disease diagnostics. She has been a member of ASCPT since 2019 and was grateful to be a recipient of the Jason Morrow, M.D., Presidential Trainee Award in 2021 and Best of Poster 2.0 Award in 2022.
