Dr. Keizo Fukushima, PharmD, graduated from Kyoto Pharmaceutical University in Japan and obtained a pharmacist license in 2003. He then attended the graduate school of Kyoto Pharmaceutical University and acquired the PharmD. He proceeded to work for Kyoto Pharmaceutical University as an assistant professor for 2 years. While there, he gained experience in pharmacokinetics and drug delivery system. After that, he relocated to Kobe Gakuin University, where he has been working as an assistant professor for the last 13 years. During this time at Kobe, he helped develop PKPD modeling and population pharmacokinetics in both basic and clinical studies of antibiotic, immunosuppressive, and anticancer drugs. Currently, he still worked in the department of Clinical Pharmacokinetics at Kobe Gakuin University.
