Researcher, Biomodeler, phD
Novadiscovery, France
Dr. Séverine Urdy, phD, is currently a researcher at Novadiscovery, Lyon, France, where she derives mechanistic computational models of diseases and treatments to simulate in silico clinical trials. She earned her phD in Mathematics and Biology from the University of Zürich, Switzerland. During her multidisciplinary post-doctoral studies at the Center of Mathematics and Informatics in Amsterdam (CWI), at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF), at the University of Zürich and at the Ecole Normale Supérieure of Lyon (ENS), she has published both original research and review papers in the area of Evolutionary Developmental Biology and Systems Biology. She is interested in knowledge-based models which strive to de-risk research in healthcare and to optimize clinical trials.
