Elizabeth Bird, PharmD, is a postdoctoral fellow in the Division of Clinical Pharmacology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She earned her bachelor's degree at the University of Virginia, her PharmD at the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy, and is currently working towards a PhD in Clinical Investigation at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Elizabeth collaborates extensively with the Johns Hopkins Behavioral Pharmacology Research Unit to study the pharmacology of illicit fentanyl in people with opioid use disorder. She hopes her research will contribute to the development of new treatment approaches and overdose prevention strategies.
