Post doctoral fellow
University of California, San Francisco
Dr. Segolene Simeon, PharmD/PhD, is a UCSF/CERSI post doctoral fellow at Genentech in the Modeling and Simulation team of the Clinical Pharmacology department. She earned her PharmD from Paris Descartes School of Pharmacy with a degree in pharmacokinetics. During her PhD, she developped mathematical models to assess the developmental toxicity of valproic acid in zebrafish embryo. She joined Savic Lab, part of the Department of Bioengineering and Therapeutic Sciences in the UCSF School of Pharmacy, as a post doctoral fellow. She worked on dose optimization of antimalarial drugs in malnourished young children. She also developped a pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic model to study dosing regimens of an antituberculosis drug. She currently works on Crohn's disease modeling and will pursue her interest in pharmacometrics.
