Eissa Jafari, a second-year Ph.D. student in the Pharmacotherapy and Translational Research department at the University of Florida College of Pharmacy. I obtained my PharmD degree from Jazan University Saudi Arabia, followed by a Master's degree in Clinical and Experimental Therapeutics from the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy. I am working under supervision of Dr. Caitrin McDonough and our research focuses on the impact of blood pressure control (resistant hypertension vs. controlled hypertension) on Alzheimer's disease and related dementia (ADRD). I have been an ASCPT member since August, 2021.
