Dr. Emily Miller, PharmD is a PharmD-PhD student at VCU School of Pharmacy in the Department of Pharmacotherapy and Outcomes Science who completed the PharmD portion of her degree in May 2022. She is currently in her third year of the PhD portion of her degree. Emily's research interests include understanding the mechanisms behind HIV-Associated Neurocognitive Disorders (HAND), the interaction between HIV and opioid use on neurocognitive and neuroinflammatory outcomes, and understanding opioid use disorder treatment utilization and access. She has enjoyed being a student member of ASCPT since 2020 and looks forward to continuing her academic growth and involvement within ASCPT.
