Douglas Chung, MS, is currently a principal scientist at Certara, specifically focused on quantitative systems pharmacology. He earned his BSc and MSc from the University of California, Los Angeles in biomedical engineering. He has over nine years of experience in modeling and simulation in drug discovery and development having worked with leading scientific and computational experts in several disease areas including gastrointestinal, neurodegenerative, and immuno-oncology. He has published original research and presented at national pharmacology meetings. Outside of pharmaceutical drug development, he has biological models for clinical decision support in NICU bedside monitors and commercial blood analyzers.
