Eric Sobie is currently both Principal Scientist II and Group Leader at Metrum Research Group and Professor of Pharmacological Sciences at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (part time). He has for many years combined physiological experiments with mechanistic, Quantitative Systems Pharmacology modeling to address relevant issues such as drug-induced cardiac arrhythmias. In his new role at Metrum his scientific interests have changed, but he maintains the same commitment to rigorous, quantitative pharmacology and to training the next generation of scientific leaders.
